Simply perfect for any occasion and finger, this Victorian antique sapphire and diamond ring was made in 1896 and is set with the most lovely natural sapphires and highlighted with not one but two diamonds on each side of the centre sapphire.
The three sapphires all have such a fine blue colour and clarity and total 1.25 carats. The colour emanating from these sapphires have that wonderful pure blue colour that has been so prized for centuries and look spectacular day or night.
And then there are the two European cut diamonds set on either side of the centre sapphire, and add an elegant sparkle to the ring. These diamonds total 0.12 carats and have all the charm and character of genuine antique cut diamonds.
Measuring 5.2mm wide at the centre by 15.1mm across, this has the perfect proportions to sit perfectly on the finger either by itself or with a wedding band along side.
Being hand made, the detail that can be achieved is wonderful as can be seen when you view this ring from the side. The incredible scroll work is just breathtaking and adds to the charm and character of the ring making it all the more special.
This is such a lovely example of an antique sapphire and diamond ring that will continually get the admiration that it deserves.
