Victorian era antique 15ct Albertina from the 1890's

Originally designed for a woman to connect her pocket watch to her outfit, Albertina's are now more often worn as bracelets, and here is a lovely Victorian era antique 15ct Albertina from the 1890's.

This Albertina was made in 15ct gold in the Victorian era , and is fitted with the most beautiful tee bar and ball to make it such a wonderful talking point.

With the links themselves having such detail, from end to end it measures 22cm and as a bracelet 18cm and an additional way to wear it besides as a bracelet is to either attach a chain at each end or join with another Albertina and wear it as a necklace.

In wonderful condition, this antique Albertina is so elegant and regardless of how it will be worn, it will always be loved and admired.

Victorian era antique 15ct Albertina from the 1890's

Originally the Albertina was made and designed for a woman to wear a pocket watch on one end and connecting through her lapel. However now they are commonly worn as a bracelet or connected with a second Albertina to make a stunning necklace. When worn as a bracelet they hang so beautifully around the wrist. Also called "Leontine" there is something so special about antique Albertina's.
