Dating from the 1880's, this antique diamond pendant is so elegant and refined and will be the perfect piece to wear anytime of the day or night.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold and sterling silver, the reason why silver was used is that white gold was not yet invented and platinum, although already discovered, was not used in jewellery until around the same time as white gold in the early 1900's.
Set with a larger rose cut diamond in the centre which is then surrounded by ten more rose cut diamonds with a further nine more set into a delightful bow at the top and three more on the bail. These diamonds come together to total 1.14 carats and have all the charm and character of being one of the earliest cuts of diamonds.
The heart section measures 12mm across by 16.6mm and 23.9mm to the top of the bow, this pendant will certainly always get the attention and admiration that it rightly deserves.
