Vintage 1924 Elgin pocket watch
$0.00
There is something about holding a genuine antique pocket watch in your hand and here is a gents pocket watch that is in wonderful condition.
Made in 1924 by Elgin, the case is made of rolled gold which is a layer of gold bonded onto another metal. Condition is the key to pocket watch cases, and this case is still in wonderful condition.
Whereas we see many pocket watches that have worn cases, hinges that don’t open at the front or front covers that open far more than 90° this one is in wonderful condition.
Even the engine turned design on the front and back are still nice and sharp making this a great pocket watch to hold and feel in the palm of your hand.
Measuring 50mm across by 70mm from the bottom of the case to the top of the bow, pressing the bow will open the front cover revealing the traditional white enamel dial with Roman numerals and sub-seconds.
This traditional look combined with a perfect dial with no cracks all go further to make this a wonderful pocket watch that would be prefect for a special gift.
Inside there is a superb 17 jewelled movement with a micro-regulator that has been completely serviced, runs perfectly and comes with our 12 month warranty.
You can buy similar pocket watches for less, but this often means that the cases and dial are not in good condition and of course they are not serviced with a warranty whereas this one will give you complete peace of mind and remain a wonderful pocket watch in wonderful condition.
