Vintage 1973 Tudor Prince Oyster watch reference 7996/1

Tudor was a subsidiary of Rolex that was launched in 1926 and was a designed to be sold at a lower price than Rolex yet all the while being highly accurate and to follow in the name of a Rolex watch and the early Tudor watches still had their cases, case backs, crowns and bracelets made by Rolex and were signed “Rolex” yet used a different movement inside, meaning that you were still getting an incredibly strong and robust watch.

This vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdate was made in 1973 and has such a clean and elegant look to it, with a dial that is so easy to read day or night. With the date window and centre sweep seconds, this watch has a style that can so easily allow it to be dressed up or down.

The gold plated stainless steel case measures 34mm across plus the Rolex crown and the case back is also signed Rolex.

Inside the watch is powered by a twenty five jewelled automatic calibre 2484 that has been serviced and comes with our twelve month warranty.

So clean and elegant, this Tudor watch is as stylish today as when it was made.
