Vintage Jaeger LeCoultre Triple Date watch reference 2721

Here is a great looking vintage Jaeger LeCoultre Triple Date watch reference 2721 that not only has the most wonderful dial to admire, but also those gorgeous tear drop lugs that are so characteristic of the 1940's.

Regarded as one of the finest watch making companies in the world, Jaeger LeCoultre have become synonymous with quality and high precision of their movements and the one inside this, the Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 464/A is certainly no exception. This high quality and incredibly accurate movement was limited to only 1,800 being produced, making this not only a great example of a vintage watch from the 1940's, but also one that is hard to come by in such good condition.

The solid 18 carat gold case measures 35mm across plus the crown and on the side above and below the crown, it has two very discreet pushers with the lower one used to change the date, and the upper one to change the month, with the day being changed by the crown.

The dial has been beautifully restored making it so easy to read and although collectors like original dials, this one was far to difficult to read hence being repainted.

Day or night, formal or informal, this is one watch that will always get the attention and admiration that it rightly deserves.

They also invented the Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos which gets its power from temperature and atmospheric changes, and the iconic Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso in 1931 and much earlier the keyless watch in 1847.
