Now here is a superb vintage Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox watch from the 1950's and fitted in the nicest 10ct rose gold filled case.
The Memovox is a superb and highly sought after watch that has an alarm function set by winding the top crown and setting the triangular marker to the designated time.
The dial is signed LeCoultre instead of Jaeger LeCoultre meaning that due to copyright laws in America and the name Jaeger LeCoultre already copyrighted and to avoid high taxes on Swiss watches, the movement was imported into America and the case made in America instead of Switzerland.
This watch case is superb - often found in steel or yellow, we have simply never seen it in rose and measuring 35mm across plus the crown this LeCoultre Memovox looks and feels elegant on the wrist.
Inside is the 17 jewelled manual wind calibre K814 which has just been serviced and runs perfectly.
A true classic Memovox by one of the finest watchmakers in the world.
