Vintage Rolex Oyster watch made for Asprey in 1927

Here is a very exciting ladies vintage Rolex Oyster watch made for Asprey in 1927, just one year after Rolex first launched their now infamous Rolex Oyster case to the world.

Not only this, but the movement inside has the highly regarded and coveted Rolex Prima movement which was their first chronometer grade movement. And to complete the wonderful package of this watch, it was retailed by the well respected jewellery and watch firm of Asprey.

Measuring 28mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, the hexagonal shaped case was made in 9 carat rose gold and the colour of the rose gold has such a wonderful warm tone to it that looks even better on the wrist and compliments the dial even more.

The dial is all original and has not been repainted, and has achieved a wonderful patina that highlights the Roman numerals. With equally elegant hands, the dial is signed Rolex Oyster as well as Asprey.

As mentioned, it is powered by the infamous Rolex Prima movement which keeps wonderful time and comes with our twelve month warranty.
