Trench watches from WWI are always sought after, and this particular one is simply amazing.
The case was made in a sterling silver case that bears the Import Hallmark for London 1915.
What makes this case sensational, is the flip top hinged lid that protects the dial, in the same way that a full hunter pocket watch would do.
To get a case like this is a realty exception, as most trench watches did not have this feature.
The case measures 35mm plus the crown and looks so good on the wrist.
Inside is a fully jewelled and recently serviced Swiss movement, and the dial itself is so nice with the numerals, sub-seconds and those wonderful hands, and is all original and still so easy to read.
If you are after a watch with a real difference,and one that will always be a conversation starter, then this must really be the one.
