Hand made platinum sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco era
The design of this ring is so beautiful and typical of the high quality work and detail that is found in genuine Art Deco rings of the 1920's to the 1940's as well as exemplifying the wonderful advantage and characteristic of platinum over gold.
Entirely hand made in platinum, one of the distinct advantages that platinum has over white gold is its ability to be drawn into a fine wire and still retain the strength needed to support the gemstones in the ring. Sitting proudly in the centre is a beautiful oval natural sapphire that measures 0.70 carats and displays such a beautiful blue colour. With excellent transparency to match, the blue is emphasized by the pure white colour of the platinum.
Then to highlight the design of the ring, it is set with sixteen European cut diamonds that total 0.72 carats and sparkle magnificently.
