18 carat gold antique brooch made by Wendt

J.M Wendt was one of Australia’s most famous and long running jewellers that started in 1854, whose pieces are now so sought after and here is very unique and attractive antique brooch made by them in the 1890’s.

Made in 18 carat gold, the brooch measures 5.2cm by 4cm and has the most wonderful surrounding border that is typical of the early Australian work seen in jewellery of the 19th Century.
