Antique lady’s Rolex watch.
$0.00
Here we have a wonderful example of an antique Rolex watch that is now 101 years old, and has aged so well over the years.
A wonderful Edwardian era designed case, the hexagonal case measures 25mm across, and is made in 9ct rose gold.
The case is hallmarked with the London Import mark of 1908, making this one of the earliest Rolex watches that we have ever had.
The band is 100% original and is in brilliant condition – this watch was not worn very often, as the springs in the band are still in amazing condition.
The dial displays Arabic numerals instead of Roman numerals, and has Rolex famous “Red 12”. It wasn’t until a few years later that Rolex and often retailers of Rolex watches signed the dial.
The dial is not perfect, however we have not re-painted it, as it has to be appreciated for the age that it is – 101 years old, and it is still easy to read.
The movement is a 15 jewelled manual wind “Reberg” movement that has undergone a full overhaul and service and runs perfectly.
Overall this is a wonderful and exciting antique Rolex watch for someone who truly appreciates the work of yesteryear.
