What an exceptional example of an antique Mizpah brooch.
Made in Birmingham in 1900, this Mizpah brooch not only has the meaning, "The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent from one another", but it is made in sterling silver with rose and green gold. Green gold was often used in the late Victorian era and early Edwardian era and is used perfectly to highlight designs such as leaves as in this brooch.
The make this Mizpah brooch more exciting, is that it incorporates the Faith, Hope and Charity symbols at the top of the brooch.
This antique Mizpah brooch measures 4.2cm in length, and will always be a real talking point every time that it is worn.
