Antique ruby and diamond ring made in Chester in 1890

It is wonderful to wear an antique ring for so many reasons, and one of the reasons that this ring is so wonderful to own and wear is the fact that it is over 130 years old, and can still easily be worn everyday and amaze and impress many when they realise how old it is.

Made in 18 carat yellow gold in Chester England in 1890, the ring is set with three beautiful natural rubies that total 0.12 carats and is highlighted by two rose cut diamonds that total 0.03 carats. However so typical of the beauty with antique rings, it is not just the rubies and diamonds that are so attractive, it is also the elegant setting that they are in, combined with the detail on each side.

Measuring 5.3mm wide at the centre, the ring tapers down to 2.2mm wide at the back of the ring and this ring will so easily suit any finger and any occasion.

As beautiful today as when it was made over a century ago, this is a wonderful ring that will surely always be loved, admired, and appreciated for its beauty and elegance.
