Mizpah jewellery is one that is so steeped in tradition and it is actually quite rare to find a Mizpah ring in sterling silver as most were made in gold.
The term Mizpah means "May God look after me and thee while we are absent from one another" and was very popular to be given to loved ones when they went away.
This particular antique Mizpah ring was made well over 130 years ago and is still in fantastic condition with the most wonderful font of the word "Mizpah" on the front.
Measuring 7mm wide at its widest part at the top, this Mizpah ring also has delightful scroll work on each side.
Antique sterling silver Mizpah rings don't come up often let alone on this condition and it is really beautiful to admire on the finger.
