Antique Victorian photo locket

$625.00

Nothing beats hand engraving for the uniqueness and character that it gives, and there is no jewellery more personal than a photo locket with photos of loved ones inside, and combine it with an antique, then you have something that is truly unique and special such as this antique photo locket from the Victorian era.

Made in sterling silver in the 1890's, the locket measures 32.3mm across by 54.3mm to the top of the bail, and on one side has such highly detail engraving that looking closer will note that it is an ivy design, and on the other a flower design.

And typical of the romance of the Victorian era, ivy was used to represent ever lasting love, friendship or marriage which makes this locket not only so beautiful but so romantic as well.

Able to hold two photos inside, this is not just a locket, it is also a beautiful piece of jewellery to wear around the neck with pride.
