Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring hand made in platinum in the 1920’s
The detail in this ring is simply exquisite and can only be achieved by being hand made in platinum that showcases not only the wonderful attribute of platinum, but also the exceptional work that was put into making this ring a century ago.
Hand making a ring makes it so much more unique than a ring that has been cast or CAD designed and can continually be replicated, and using platinum allows such precise and fine work as can be seen in this ring.
Although white gold can be made this, only platinum can go as fine as what is seen in this ring and still retain the strength needed to support the sapphires and diamonds, as well as the entire structure of the ring. And the detail in this ring is nothing short of extraordinary. The detail alone will have you admiring this ring every single time that it is on your finger and is destined to be admired by all who see it.
Set with three beautiful natural sapphires that come together to total 1 carat in weight, the sapphires are millgrain set which is the fine elegant crimping along the edge of the setting.
And then on each side are eight mine cut diamonds with a further three mine cut diamonds set on each shoulder. The diamonds total 0.32 carats and not only sparkle beautifully but highlight the incredible work that was put into making this ring all those years ago.
Measuring 15.2mm across, this is a truly fabulous and breathtaking ring that is destined to always be treasured.
