Gorgeous antique sapphire and pearl ring made in the early 1900's

Hand made in 18 carat gold in the early 1900's, the ring is made with six pearls surrounding a sapphire. However looking close you will fall in love with a few small but charming aspects of this ring that highlights why there is nothing quite like a genuine antique ring.

To begin with the setting around the pearls is called a millgrain setting which can be seen as both the very fine and elegant crimping along the edge of the setting. This small feature really elevates the ring as does the sapphire sits in what appears to be a star pattern around it. It is these small but important attention to detail that really makes this ring so much more special and unique.

The sapphire measures 0.12 carats in size and the cluster itself measures 9.5mm in diameter, making it the perfect proportions for any finger.

As sweet and charming today as when it was made, this antique sapphire and diamond ring is still as gorgeous as ever.
