Antique opal and rose cut diamond ring

The detail in this ring is a true testament to the quality of work that was achieved by the jewellers over 10 years ago and remains as beautiful and breathtaking today as when it was made.

Dating from the early 1900’s, this opal and diamond ring was made in 18 carat yellow gold and is set with five oval cabochon solid Australian white opals that are not only all matched perfectly in colour, but graduate down in size so elegantly.

Then to highlight these gorgeous opals, set between each one are two rose cut diamonds to add an elegant sparkle to the ring and capture the eye even more.  The top of the ring measures 22.3mm across by 7.6mm wide at the centre, and then admiring the ring from the sides will take your breath away.

The amazing scrollwork is just so incredible and breathtaking and shows just how much time and attention to detail went into making this ring all those years ago.
