The Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 - the name says it all to the decade in which it was made, the wonderful 1970's. The Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 was launched in 1972, and this one date from 1973 and has a very rare purple dial which is incredibly hard to find.
Not only is it a rare dial, but the colour is just amazing, more so for a watch and is actually very easy to read day or night.
The stainless steel case measures 38.2mm across, and is fitted on its original stainless steel Omega band that is integrated into the watch case. With such a sleek feel to it, this watch sits and feels perfect on the wrist.
Powered by the 23 jewelled automatic Omega calibre 1012 that has just come back from a full service and overhaul and complete with our twelve month warranty, this is a classic vintage Omega for anyone wanting a vintage watch or to add to a collection of watches.

Vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 with the rare purple dial
This automatic vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 has the Omega calibre 1012 movement fitted. With twenty three jewels, it has a power reserve of forty-two hours, quickset date and hacking feature.
A brief history on the Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 as taken from the Omega book:
Launched in 1972, the automatic Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 was characterised both by the exclusive watertight system of large gaskets insuring an absolute water-resistance down to 60 metres (sic) and by the originality of the method to fasten the movement to the case: the movement is held in a separate "container" maintained by an O-ring gasket on the inner side of the separate case middle. The mineral crystal and the case back are also set into a special water-resistant synthetic sleeve.
