Due to the sudden passing of Mr Ross Beer of Timepiece Watchmaker in 2013, the watch industry worldwide lost a very important, respectable and honourable watchmaker who serviced many Rolex watches over the years.
Ross Beer was known worldwide for his thorough knowledge and appreciation of all matters of watchmaking especially anything regarding Rolex watches and the servicing of vintage and second hand Rolex watches became his pride and passion.
In May 2013, Kalmar Antiques were appointed the official business to carry on the servicing of Ross Beer’s established and distinguished clientele particularly specialising in the service and repair of Rolex watches.
We have been buying and selling second hand and vintage Rolex watches as well as servicing them for over 20 years, so it is a natural transition to taking over Ross Beer’s watch servicing company, Timepiece Watchmaker.
Our qualified Master Watchmaker who will take on Ross Beer’s and Timepiece Watchmaker have been an associate of Ross Beer for over 20 years, and servicing all brands of wrist and pocket watches for over 30 years especially servicing Rolex watches and was indeed gearing up to take over from Ross when he retired when he suddenly passed away.
Continuing with our standard policy of watchmaking, we will still be able to give free quotes as well as a 12 month warranty on all repairs and servicing.
