Antique amethyst necklace from the Edwardian era
$2,350.00
Quite often jewellery from the early 1900’s Edwardian era is so simple and elegant that it makes them perfect to wear for any occasion, and this antique Edwardian era necklace is certainly one.
Made in 9 carat gold, the necklace is set with a large oval amethyst with three further amethysts set below. Adding to the charm is the fact that the centre one is longer than the ones on the side, and even the knife edge bar has a gold ball on all three.
The amethysts are all so perfectly matched in colour and have that wonderful purple hue that looks even better when worn against the skin.
The drop section measures 4.2cm, and from end to end the necklace measures 41cm in length, allowing it to sit perfectly across the neckline.
This is such an elegant necklace that will so easily suit any woman of any age and always have that regal look to it.
