Antique ruby and diamond ring made by Kilpatrick & Co

Here is a gorgeous ring made by the early Australian jewellery firm, Kilpatrick & Co in the early 1900’s that looks as fabulous today as when it was made over a century ago.

Made in 18 carat yellow gold, the way the rubies and diamond have been set nice and low in the setting will make this ring feel so comfortable to wear all the time and has the added elegance of the hand carved scroll work on the side.

Set with a European cut diamond in the centre in a gorgeous star setting, the diamond is complimented by two natural rubies on each side that total 0.18 carats and display the most fabulous rich red colour.

Measuring 7.1mm wide at the centre and tapering down at the back, this ring sits so perfectly on the finger and is a wonderful testament to the early Australian jewellers.
