The buckle design was a popular motif in the late Victorian era of the 1880's and 1890's, as well as into the Edwardian era of the early 1900's, and here is a lovely antique buckle ring that looks as attractive today as when it was made over 100 years ago.
Made in sterling silver in Birmingham in 1892, at the centre the ring measures 6.6mm wide and 4.9mm wide at the back, and sits so well on the finger..
However it is not just the buckle design that makes this ring so beautiful, it is also the incredible hand engraving that shows how much time and attention was given to this ring. The time and skill needed to engrave this so beautifully by hand would have been immense and adds to the charm and character of the ring even further.
So beautiful to admire both on and off the finger, this ring will always look and feel amazing and is perfect for any occasion.
