The buckle design has been used in jewellery for centuries and was especially popular from the Georgian period onward, and here is a lovely since 18ct antique buckle ring set with rubies and diamonds. This incredibly stylish ring very cleverly uses the plain high polish of the band to contrast with the stippled effect of the buckle sections at each end. This gives the ring such a lovely textured look and feel and then is of course highlighted with the two rubies and the diamond. The rubies total 0.16 carats and the diamond 0.04 carats and add so much more character to a traditional buckle ring. Measuring 10.9mm wide at the buckle section, this ring sits so well on the finger and is so comfortable to wear on any finger. No matter the finger this ring is worn on, there is no doubt that this Victorian era antique buckle ring set with rubies and diamonds will always be admired. Stock# ES6079 Circa: 1890 $2,350

Here is an absolutely beautiful 18ct gold hand engraved buckle ring made in 1910, that will look good when worn on any finger and is sure to be admired. The exceptional hand engraving would have taken such an incredible amount of time, and the detail that is achieved by hand engraving is always so much more superior to machine engraving as is typically done today. The painstaking time to do this would have been immense and the quality shows not just in the engraving, but the fact that this ring was made over 100 years ago and still looks incredible. Measuring 12.6mm wide at the buckle section by 8.9mm wide at the back of the ring, the buckle design is often seen in jewellery of the late Victorian period of the 1800's and into the Edwardian period when this ring was made. No matter which finger it will be worn om, there is no denying that this beautiful antique buckle ring will always look and feel so good on the finger.
