Art Deco ruby and diamond Toi et Moi ring

$9,400.00

The term “Toi et Moi” is French for “You and Me” and is used for a ring with two main stones and this is believed to have started when Napoleon gave Josephine a sapphire and diamond engagement ring in 1776. Finding a resurgence in popularity in the Art Deco era of the 1920’s when this ring was made, it has become a wonderfully romantic gesture in a ring that displays love between two people in a gorgeous design that will always be admired.

Hand made in 18 carat white gold and platinum, this ring stands out so well with the incredibly vibrant natural ruby that measures 0.70 carats and has such a fine intense red that contrasts perfectly with the white gold and platinum, and the sparkle from the diamond sitting opposite.

This diamond is a 0.50 carat European cut diamond and both the ring and the centre diamond and ruby is accentuated further by the three single cut diamonds that are set on each side and add an additional  0.08 carats of diamond weight to the ring.

Coming from a gorgeous era in time with such an incredibly beautiful and romantic sentiment to the ring, this is certainly one ring that will not only be admired, but also loved and cherished.
