Antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring from the late Victorian era

Normally these rings are found with three sapphires and two diamonds, however in this antique ring dating from the 1890’s, it is the opposite way around and has two sapphires and three diamonds.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold, the colour and clarity of the sapphires are so beautiful and come together to total 0.80 carats. With such a perfect blue, they are complimented perfectly by the three European cut diamonds that total 0.68 carats and sparkle so beautifully.

Measuring 5.5mm wide at the centre by 18.4mm across, this ring is as beautiful today as when it was made over 130 years ago.
