There is something so special and romantic about having a genuine Art Deco diamond engagement ring on your finger, and here is such a lovely example that has so much fine detail that will have you admiring it every time that you look upon it.
Made in the 1930's in platinum, the detail in this ring is just wonderful and highlights the beauty of hand making a piece of jewellery combined with how fine platinum can be drawn into when making it into jewellery such as a ring. Although white gold is a fabulous metal used for centuries in jewellery making, it simply cannot be made as fine as platinum which was embraced by many jewellers of the Art Deco era.
Sitting in the centre is a lovely 0.50 carat early brilliant cut diamond that is highlighted by a single cut diamond set on each side. The way the band elegant tapers down to the half round band makes it feel so comfortable on the finger, and the detail from all sides of this ring is truly amazing.
Made in a design that will always look so beautiful, this is a truly romantic and gorgeous Art Deco diamond engagement ring that will always be loved and treasured.

Art Deco diamond engagement ring made in platinum in the 1930's
This vintage diamond engagement ring was hand made entirely in platinum during the Art Deco period of the 1930's. Genuine Art Deco diamond engagement rings have remained popular throughout the years thanks to the elegant designs that have never gone out fashion or style. Embracing platinum in their jewellery was common for jewellers of this era, with platinum remaining a pure white colour and never needing rhodium plating as much of the modern white gold requires.
