Art Nouveau pendant, necklace and brooch

$4,250.00

What an incredibly versatile piece of jewellery that can be worn not just one or two different ways, but three.

Made in 15 carat gold in the early 1900’s in such a wonderful flowing design typical of the Art Nouveau era where the beauty and design is often inspired by nature by having those gorgeous flowing lines, this is set with seed pearls that not only highlight the design, but graduate in size so beautifully.

At the top is a pearl set bail which will allow this to be worn as a pendant. When worn as a pendant, the brooch fitting on the back can easily be removed to not be visible as well as allowing the pendant to sit lovely and flat against the skin.

Then the top bail is able to be removed, the brooch fitting put back on and worn as a brooch. However to go one step further, on the reverse side are two hooks to let a chain to be set to allow this to be worn as a necklace.

Measuring 33.5mm across by 59.5mm to the top of the detachable bail, this is such a wonderful example of not only how beautiful the Art Nouveau era was, but also how versatile.
