Antique brooch made by Aronson & Co

Aronson & Co were one of Australia’s most famous and prolific jewellers of the 19th and early 20th Century, and here is a charming antique brooch made by them that is so elegant and perfect to wear day or night.

Made in 9 carat gold in the early 1900’s, the brooch measures 5.5cm in length and is designed with those gorgeous twist design bars and fancy detail at each end. Then with a shield design in the centre set with two green paste stones and a colourless one to complete the image, this brooch is so stylish and typical of the elegance of the Edwardian era in which it was made.
