Buckle rings were very popular in the late 19th and earl;y 20th centuries, and here is a magnificent example that has been incredibly and profusely hand engraved.
Made in 9 carat rose gold in 1905, the colour of gold has such a lovely warm colour to it that looks even more beautiful on the finger. With the buckle design adding so much extra charm to the ring, it is also the hand engraving that will have you admiring it every time that you look at your hand. The time needed to complete this hand engraving would have been immense as is the time needed to train and learn this wonderful skill.
Measuring 14.2mm at the buckle section, the ring tapers down to 7.2mm wide at the back and feels so wonderful and tactile to the touch.
Made well over 100 years ago yet still as fashionable as ever, this antique buckle ring is truly magnificent.
