Vintage sapphire and diamond brooch

Made in the 1940’s, this brooch was made in platinum and 14 carat rose and yellow gold. The combination alone of the pure white of the platinum and the use of rose and yellow gold for the flowers as well as the vase and border, makes this such an exciting and beautiful brooch.

Then there are the two natural sapphires that total 0.22 carats, and the single cut diamond that measures 0.14 carats that have been set into the flowers that adds even more charm and character to the brooch.

The flowers have such a wonderful sculptural look and feel to them, and the brooch measures 5cm across by 2.6cm, and will look so lovely worn against any colour of outfit.
