The colour in this ruby is just magnificent and combined with the beautiful diamonds and the scroll work on the sides, this all comes together to create a stunning antique ruby and diamond ring.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold in Chester in 1898, the ruby measures 1.15 carats and has such a beautiful red colour to it. The colour is matched by the perfect clarity of the ruby allowing you to see right through the stone, and this ruby is truly as good as they get. Measuring 1.15 carats in weight, it is complimented by the European cut diamond set on each side. These diamonds total 0.84 carats and are the perfect proportion to add sparkle to the ring and highlight the ruby. Measuring 6.8mm wide in the centre by 14.9mm across, the shoulders are beautifully hand engraved and looking at the ring from the side shows the most beautiful scroll work.
In wonderful condition, this antique ruby and diamond ring is as good as they get.
