Antique, Antique Engagement Rings, Antique Rings, Art Deco, Art Deco Rings & Art Deco Engagement Rings
Antique engagement rings are so romantic and special, and nothing is more romantic than a genuine Art Deco Toi et Moi ring sitting on your finger.
The term Toi et Moi†is French for “You and Me†and is used for a ring with two main stones, and this is believed to have started when Napoleon gave Josephine a sapphire and diamond engagement ring in 1776. Since then, this has become a wonderfully romantic design for jewellery that displays love between two people in a gorgeous design that will always be admired.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum in the Art Deco period of the 1920's, the ring is set with a natural pearl sitting opposite a lovely antique mine cut diamond that measures 0.55 carats. The diamond and pearl compliment each other so well, and then to highlight the design of the ring further, each side is set with five rose cut diamonds that come together to total 0.05 carats and add the perfect amount of extra sparkle to the ring.
Measuring 8.8mm wide at the centre by 16.2mm across, this ring is as beautiful as it is romantic and will always be treasured and admired.
