Antique aquamarine necklace made by Wendt

J.M Wendt was one of Australia’s most famous and long running jewellers that started in 1854 and quickly became a name as it produced of some of the finest jewellery and silverware, and here is such a beautiful antique necklace made by the company in the early 20th Century.
Made in 9 carat gold, this necklace is so elegant in its design and is set with two aquamarines, with the round one in the centre at the top weighing 2.15 carats, and the pear cut aquamarine at the bottom weighing 1.35 carats.
And this exact necklace is seen on page 261 of the book, “Australian Jewellers: Gold & Silversmiths, Makers & Marks,” by Kenneth Cavill, Graham Cocks, and Jack Grace making it even more wonderful and unique.
