Antique ruby and pearl horseshoe brooch

This brooch is the perfect size to wear day or night, and with the charming horseshoe design is destined to always be loved and admired.

Made in the early 1900’s, the brooch was made in 15 carat gold and measures 4cm in length and is of course set with the horseshoe in the centre. Highlighted with four seed pearls and three rubies.

Even the setting of the rubies and pearls is charming by each being set into a box design as opposed to being simply set on the top, and with the way the horseshoe itself tapers in width, as does each end, all come together to make this such a charming and beautiful brooch.

Destined to always be loved, this is a wonderful brooch from the Edwardian era that will no doubt always be admired.
