Antique enamel necklace with peridots and rubies

What a magnificent antique necklace that is so elegant and destined to be admired from near or far.

Dating from the early 1900’s, the necklace was made in 15 carat gold and platinum in such an elegant design that is complimented by the lower section suspended at the bottom and connected by two chains.

With five round peridot’s and one emerald cut peridot in the necklace, these come together to total 7.25 carats and display such a beautiful green colour, and is also set with four round rubies that total 0.32 carats and three charming pearls.

However it is not just the gemstones that make this necklace so elegant and stunning, it is the use of the white enamel that really makes this necklace stand out even more.

The use of white enamel with such fine black enamel truly highlights this necklace and defines it as a spectacular piece of early 20th Century jewellery.

Even the chain connecting the two sections together as well as along the neckline were made in gold and platinum, and measuring 37cm in length, this is a magnificent necklace that will no doubt always be admired.
