Art Deco diamond negligee necklace made in the 1920’s
$26,800.00
Here is an exquisite Art Deco diamond negligee pendant that is so elegant and destined to become a family heirloom and make any woman so proud to own and wear it.
Handmade in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold during the Art Deco period of the 1920’s, a negligee pendant is one that has two suspended drops often of different lengths, and became popular during this time.
With two delightful bows at the top each set with a natural pearl, the way they are connected together makes it appear as they are draped across the neckline and gives this necklace such a delicate and feminine look to it.
Then there are the two drops that each lead to a larger European cut diamond. The top section as well as these drops are set with a total of fifty two European cut diamonds that total 2.06 carats, and the two European cut diamonds at each end total 1.86 carats, bringing the diamond weight in this necklace to a dazzling 3.92 carats.
From the top of the bow to the bottom of the longest drop, this distance measures 5.7cm and laid out from end to end, the necklace measures 45cm allowing this to sit at the perfect position on the neckline.
So beautifully made, this is one necklace that will always be admired from near or far.
