Enamel Art Deco pearl and diamond necklace
$7,200.00
What a gorgeous necklace that is absolutely exquisite from end to end and is destined to make any woman feel like royalty with this adorning her neck.
Made in the glamorous 1920’s Art Deco era in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, the 42cm chain is made in platinum with very attractive double bar designs in 18 carat gold and lead to the centre where there is a natural pearl that connects to an elegant stem where the show of this necklace sits.
With such a charming design of a soft, rounded border, this leads the eye to the centre where there are more pearls and in the centre even more pearls and four rose cut diamonds that add an elegant sparkle to the eye.
And then there is the most beautiful powder blue guilloché enamel work that has the most wonderful soft colour to it. Guilloché is a beautiful technique in which a very precise and repetitive pattern is engraved into the gold, and then the enamel applied over the top. After the firing process is completed, it is polished back to a high lustre revealing the engraved pattern below the surface, all of which can be seen here in this magnificent necklace.
This main section measures 2.1cm across by 3.9cm from the bottom to the pearl at the top, making it sit perfectly on the neck where it will no doubt always be admired.
This is such an elegant necklace, and one that will be admired from near or far.
