Rare Limited Edition Omega Anniversary Watch

Here is a highly collectable and very hard to find watch by Omega – the 18ct rose gold 1894 Anniversary watch that was made in 1994 to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of Omega.

Made in a limited number of 1894 in 18 carat rose gold, there are so many incredible features to this watch.

To begin with, having made only 1894 in rose gold, this makes them already a very rare and highly collectable watch. This one is numbered 1357, and there are more features making this such an incredible watch.

The movements in these watches are the highly regarded 30mm movement calibre 269 which were produced in the 1960’s and were taken from storage to be used in these watches. This famous Omega 30mm movement has long been regarded as one of the finest movements ever made. With the exhibition window on the back to show this superb movement, it has been completely serviced by our in-house Omega authorised watchmaker, runs perfectly and comes with our two year warranty. This movement is not to be taken lightly – it truly is regarded as one of the finest hand wound movements ever produced and was the perfect choice by Omega to use to celebrate 100 years.

Then there is the case which is made of solid 18 carat rose gold that measures 35.5mm across and on its own without the movement, dial, hands or crystal weighs a hefty 46.6 grams, showing just how solid this case is, and of course when it is all assembled, has a wonderful heft on the wrist and feels fantastic.

And then the dial. Just when this watch couldn’t get more rare and special, this particular dial made in a combination of rose and dark blue and is complimented beautifully by the rose gold hands and combination of index markers and Roman numerals on the dial, was made exclusively for the Japanese market and limited to just 100 dials of this colour ever made.
