Made in the Victorian period of the 1870's in 15 carat gold, the pendant measures 29mm across by 62.3mm from the bottom to the top of the fancy bail. The size of this is destined to make sure that it stands out so elegantly on any outfit that it is worn with, and the lovely soft colour of the gold adds to the charm and character of a bygone era. Set in the centre is a vibrant natural ruby that measures 0.25 carats and is highlighted in a very beautiful way with four natural pearls and twelve rose cut diamonds. With four incredibly elegant Fleur-dis-lis designs on the outside each set with more natural pearls and rose cut diamonds, these designs adds so much to the charm and character of the locket. The diamonds total 0.14 carats and capture the light so elegantly, as does the design set between each Fleur-dis-lis. Quite often you will find an antique ring that is well over 100 years old, yet has a look and style to it that belies its age such as this incredible antique ruby, sapphire and diamond ring. Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold in the early 1900's, the dome shape to the ring combined with the high polish of the yellow gold will easily allow this ring to be worn alongside other antique jewellery as well as modern jewellery just as easily. In the centre is a 0.25 carat European cut diamond that is highlighted so beautifully by having a sapphire and ruby on each side. Both the sapphire and ruby weigh 0.27 carats each, and the colour from each gemstone is just perfect and incredible to admire. All the gemstones are set low into the band making it even more comfortable and practical to wear all the time, and at the top of the ring it measures 6.8mm wide and tapers down at the back to 3.4mm. Dating from the Victorian period of the 1880;s, this ring was made in 18 carat yellow gold and is set with rubies, diamonds and pearls.
