The Rolex Chameleon is so named as you can very easily change the colour of the watch strap that it is fitted onto making it suit the colour of clothes that you are wearing at the time.
This Rolex Chameleon watch dates from the 1960's and is not only in solid 18ct yellow gold, but also has the fancy cross hatched designed case.
Typical of the fab 1960's, this Rolex Chameleon watch is without a doubt the best one that we have ever had.
Firstly the case has that particular design instead of just being plain polished gold, and secondly it comes with 3 original Rolex leather Chameleon bands in purple, white and yellow.
Lately there are non-genuine Rolex Chameleon bands coming onto the market, so it is wonderful to get the original Rolex bands each complete with their own Rolex buckles.
As can be seen in the images below, it is as simple as sliding one Rolex band out and replacing it with another one to match the colour of clothes being worn.
Then to make this vintage Rolex Chameleon watch even more special is the fact that it comes complete with its original Rolex Chameleon box.
