Here is a fantastic and vary rare 18ct Rolex Datejust 6305 Ovetone case with roulette date wheel that looks sensational on the wrist and ticks all the right boxes for any Rolex collector out there.

This particular Rolex is also called the “Ovetone case” or “Big Bubble back case” because as the name implies this is from the generation of early automatic Rolex watches that had large rotors and therefore the cases had to be made with a somewhat bulbous shape to it to accommodate this movement.

With the solid 18ct yellow gold case measuring the iconic 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, the dial on this Rolex has achieved the most perfect patina and look nothing short of spectacular on the wrist. The tone of the dial has aged so evenly and this highlights quite a few further features about this Rolex. To begin with the word “Datejust” is written in red which adds to the character of the watch and then it also has what is affectionately referred to as a “Roulette date wheel”.
