Sometimes you come across an antique brooch that is so elegant and so easy to wear day or night such as this charming antique aquamarine and pearl brooch from the Edwardian era.
Made in the early 1900's, this antique brooch was made in 15ct gold, a carat of gold which was stopped in 1931 making it even more unique and special.
The colour of the gold matches so well with the pearls and of course that gorgeous aquamarine in the centre. Measuring 1.10 carats, the aquamarine is milgrain set which is the elegant crimping around the setting adding to the charm of an already very pretty brooch.
Set with 6 natural seed pearls, the brooch measures 50mm across by 7.7mm at the aquamarine and because of the open work design would look lovely set onto any coloured outfit.
This is such a charming antique brooch from the Edwardian era that is just perfect.
