Often you will find antique silver bangles that are highlighted with different colours of gold, however here is an antique French silver bangle with rose and green gold unlike any other and one that is as beautiful as it is intricate in its style and design.
Made in France in the late 1800's, this bangle measures 20.5mm wide and being hinged sits nice and close to the wrist and is so comfortable to wear all the time.
Typical of the Art Nouveau era from when this was made, it has a gorgeous floral design that is highlighted in both rise and green gold. Rose gold is made by adding copper to the gold when it is being alloyed and gives it that wonderful warm colour to it, and green gold was made by adding silver and cadmium to the gold resulting in that lovely soft green colour which was used perfectly in this piece to emphasise the leaves.
And then as if that was not enough for this bangle, there is the most incredible intricate pattern running all around this bangle making this feature alone such a wonderful part of the bangle.
There is nothing like a genuine antique bangle and this one is truly like no other.
