Antique peridot and pearl necklace made by Duggin, Shappere & Co

This antique necklace was made by one of Australia's most famous early jewellery companies, Duggin, Shappere & Co in the early 1900's, and not only looks so elegant and regal, but sits perfectly around the neck.

Made in 15 carat gold, the design of the necklace is so beautiful and when laid out straight measures 36.9cm in length allowing it to sit at the perfect height on the neckline. Set with both peridots and pearls, the design of the scrolls on each side and the glorious drop section in the centre that measures 5cm from the top to the bottom, will make sure that this necklace is destined to always be admired and complimented on.

Perfect for any occasion and still as fashionable today as when it was made over a century ago, this is a not only a wonderful design, but a fabulous example of early Australian jewellery.
