Antique sterling silver collar made in the 1890’s Victorian era

This collar was made over 130 years ago, yet it still has such a modern and contemporary look to it that will also suit being worn for any occasion, day or night.

Made in sterling silver in the 1890’s, the detail in the links is amazing and the links themselves have such a smooth and tactile feel to them.

Measuring 45cm in length, the links measure 1.6cm wide and at one end is a bolt ring to connect it together which can be worn at the back or at the front for not only a feature, but to also hang something off it such as a locket.

This antique collar is a great example of why so many antique pieces look as good today as when they were first made.
