Art Deco amethyst negligee necklace made in the 1920’s

The negligee design in a necklace is one that has two suspended drops of different lengths resulting in such an attractive design, and here is a very elegant amethyst negligee necklace that was made in the Art Deco period of the 1920’s.

Made in 9 carat gold, the necklace measures 41.5cm in length with the longest of the two drops measuring a very elegant 4.5cm in length.

At the centre is a gorgeous cushion shaped amethyst which measures 5.80 carats with two pear cut amethysts that total 1.60 carats.

This is such an elegant necklace that truly highlights the beauty of the Art Deco era of the 1920’s, and with a lovely soft colour from the amethysts combined with the design, will make this one necklace that will look superb day or night.
