Made in the 1920's come these very elegant Art Deco diamond cluster earrings beautifully hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum.
Art Deco jewellery is easily characterised by often having angular designs and a "shape inside a shape" which can be seen here in these earrings. Looking at the centre round semi-modern cut diamond, it is set with an octagonal border to give these diamond cluster earrings a wonderful point of difference.
This larger diamond is surrounded by six more semi-modern cut diamonds and the total weight of all the diamonds is 0.70 carats. They are lovely and white F colour diamonds and clean Vs to Si clarity meaning there are no eye visible inclusions. The semi-modern cut diamond was cut as the same as the modern round brilliant cut diamonds but with a slightly larger culet at the bottom and marginally different angles and they have all the charm and character of being cut by hand all those years ago.
Measuring 9.3mm in diameter, they are set on posts with very secure butterfly fittings and are the perfect style and size to wear all the time and always be admired and commented on.
