Art Deco diamond jabot pin made in gold and platinum in the 1920's.

Jabot pins are just wonderful to admire, and the history of them actually goes back to the 18th century, when men wore them to secure the ruffled lace at the front of their shirts, called a “jabot”. Differing from a brooch, in that they are worn with each side showing and the fabric visible between the two ends, they became very popular during the Art Deco period of the 1920’s to the 1940’s, when this one was made.

Hand made in 18 carat gold and platinum, the form of an arrow makes it so elegant to admire and will look amazing on any outfit day or night.

In the fletching at the end, it is set with six rose cut diamonds and set into the arrow point is a mine cut diamond. These diamonds come together to total 0.04 carats and sparkle so beautifully in the light.

This jabot pin truly epitomises the elegance of the Art Deco era, and will be adored by all who see it.
